Making the Most of a New Job!

1. Continue Learning - Many companies have learning portals that offer a wide variety of courses at no cost. Speak with your Manager about what learning opportunities would make sense and then take advantage of the offering!

2. Be Mindful - Pay attention to what you are doing while you are doing it. When you’re at work, you’re at work. It’s important to show up every day and be present! Leave social media at home.

3. Be Innovative - Ask Questions! Let the creative juices flow. If you don’t try, how will you ever know?

4. Maximize the Benefits of Feedback - Don’t wait for it to be given – ask for it! Good constructive feedback is critical so that you continue to improve and develop. Embrace it!

5. Hold Yourself Accountable - Don’t over promise and under deliver. Follow through on your commitments and if you are unable to, communicate the change. Be credible!

6. Frame of Mind - Bring your “Can Do, Will Do” attitude to work and make sure it’s proudly displayed every day!
