J. Craig Maddock is responsible for the management of more than $21 billion in assets held in the company’s proprietary mutual funds and pools.
With a career spanning more than 26 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Maddock has developed his expertise in the management and delivery of high-quality investment solutions through various roles in investment management, sales management, estate planning and financial planning. His leadership was instrumental in the creation of the sophisticated investment management process in use at MD today.
In addition, Mr. Maddock, who started at MD as a Senior Financial Consultant, is a vocal advocate on behalf of our clients in areas of product management and financial advice. Ten years after moving into his current leadership role at MD, he still receives calls from physician clients seeking his counsel regarding their investments and financial plans.
Mr. Maddock is a graduate of Dalhousie University, with a master’s degree in business administration. He is a Certified Financial Planner, a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, a Certified Investment Manager, a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Marija Majdoub, CMA, CFA
Vice President, Investment Strategy
Marija Majdoub is responsible for managing strategic and tactical asset allocation for MD portfolios and its Fund of Funds, and leads the research and analyses behind MD’s investment views.
Ms. Majdoub also delivers and manages MD’s investment governance structure, and has led the development of many of the company’s current investment processes. She has been involved in the management of MD funds, pools and portfolios for more than ten years, and has worked hand in hand with the MD product team to enhance and develop new MD investment products and solutions.
Ms. Majdoub joined MD in 2003. Her prior experience includes working in finance and research roles at a pension plan, an IT firm and a university. She is a graduate of Carleton University, with an honours degree in commerce, accounting and finance. Ms. Majdoub is a Certified Management Accountant, and she also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
